Welcome to another year at the Forbidden Palace. We are celebrating the third Anniversary of the Forbidden Palace. As always, we have some great features for you to kick off 2004. Our featured photographer in the Great Hall is Steven Speliotis, a freelance portrait photographer for the performing arts in New York City, London & Japan. His photography has been featured in countless magazines. Steven was featured on the Playboy Tv Channell "Sexcetera" during the month of September. The book of the month is "The Ultimate Guide to Strap-On Sex: A Complete Resource for Women and Men" by Karlyn Lotney, an informative yet often hilarious manual to strap on sex. The Palace is proud to present a classic body of film work, "Venus in Furs (1994) directed by Victor Nieuwenhuijs, Maartje Seyferth. The website featured in January is "Gallery Serpentine". GS offer superb garments including corsets, capes and PVC wear to exquisite jewellery and accessories. And don't forget, at the Palace we are always happy to post your poetry, stories and thoughts in the Chamber. So if you've had an especially ssc holidays....why not share it with Us! ~Happy New Year~

Important Announcement
With deep sorrow in my heart, I would like everyone to know that my beloved
ai-ren passed away yesterday, Feb, 4, 2004. For those who are not aware of
it, ai-ren and I established the Forbidden Palace in January 2001 to provide
a home for like-minded folks to share ideas, writings, articles regarding
the lifestyle. There were rough times when I felt like shutting down the
site for one reason or another but ai-ren has been the motivation, the drive
and the inspiration to continue on. And even when she was in the thick of
the biggest fight of her life, she continued to provide input and content to
the site. What you see in the January edition of the site were all written
and researched by ai-ren. As a tribute to her, I will keep this January
edition of the website up. I have not made a decision whether to continue to
keep the Forbidden Palace going. As soon as I have made my decision, I will
post my thoughts on it in here.
Lastly, to those who have crossed paths with her, you will know what I'm
talking about. But to those who didn't, ai-ren was a beautiful, fun loving
person, a wonderful mother to her daughter, a very smart and strong woman
and last but not the least, the submissive whose knowledge and understanding
of submission, very few would be able to attain.
And one more time, thank you for everything my treasured one... forever...
